Terms & Conditions of Hire

Booking Form |
|
| |
1. |
You must complete all details contained in the booking form over page and return it to the address provided,
along with the reservation deposit. |
|

2. |
Adventure Houseboats reserves the right to refuse a booking form in its absolute discretion. |
|
| |
|
Hire Prices |
|
| |
3. |
Subject to clause 4, the hire prices are subject to change at any time at the absolute discretion ofthe Hirer. |
|
| |
4. |
Once a reservation deposit has been received the price quoted by the Hirer will not change. |
|
| |
|
Payments & Security Bonds |
|
| |
5. |
You must pay the Reservation Deposit at the time your booking is made. |
|
| |
6. |
Payment of the remainder of the hire fee must be made at least 8 weeks prior to the first date on which the boat is to be hired. |
|
| |
7. |
A security bond (Bond) must be paid in cash on the first day on which the boat is to be hired. AU$1,000 /week.
Please discuss this upon booking. |

| |
8. |
The Bond, less the cost of fuel (including diesel and/or unleaded petrol and gas) used during the Hire Period and the costs (if any)
of making good damage done to the boat during the Hire Period, will be refunded when the boat is returned promptly to the Hirer
at the time agreed by you and the Hirer. This will be refunded by mail within 7 days.
Damage or loss to the boat will be charged at cost. |

Cancellations |

9. |
The Reservation Deposit will not be refunded for cancellations made within 2 months of the commencement of the Hire Period. |

| |
10. |
Refunds of the booking fee/ hire fee for cancellations made less than two (2) months prior to the commencement of the hire
will be made when the same boat has been hired for the same period. |
|
| |
11. |
A cancellation fee of $100 will apply. |
|
| |
|
General Conditions |
|
| |
12. |
All occupants of the vessel are required to read and sign a comprehensive hire agreement prior to departure. |
|
| |
13. |
Occupants under 18 years of age require the signature of a parent or guardian. |
|
| |
14. |
At least one crew member must be aged 21 or older and hold a current drivers license.
The boat must be driven in daylight hours only.
No driving under the influence of alcohol.

| |
15. |
Arrivals after 6.00pm may be required to remain at the mooring sites until the following morning. |
|
| |
16. |
The houseboat must be returned in good clean condition or an extra cleaning charge will apply.
Smoking inside the houseboat is not allowed and additional cleaning fees will apply. |

| |
17. |
No pets, firearms, trail/ motorbikes or chainsaws are allowed on board the boat. |
|
| |
18. |
In the unlikely event of unfavourable river conditions, or any unforeseen circumstances, causing danger to the river craft, the proprietors reserve the right to re-arrange the booking. Every effort will be made to give notice in advance if such circumstances arise. |

19. |
We agree to have the boat, motor and accessories in good working order. We will not be obliged to compensate the hirer for loss of time due to unforeseen mechanical problems during the hire period. |

20. |
The number of people on board is limited to the number of berths allowed by NSW Maritime regulations.
A child over the age of 12 months is counted as one person. |
|
| |
21. |
Hire will commence at 3.00pm on the day of departure and will terminate at 9.00am on the last day. |
|
| |
22. |
The management reserves the right to refuse any hire without stating any grounds for refusal or termination. |
|
| |
23. |
Car parking is available at the mooring sites. No responsibility is accepted for parked vehicle. |
